Refund & Returns Policy

This Refund & Returns Policy outlines the conditions under which SwiftStar Technology (“we”, “our”, or “us”) provides refunds, returns, and exchanges. It also covers our limitations of liability, client responsibilities, and important legal disclosures regarding our services.
By engaging our services or purchasing our products, you (“the client” or “you”) agree to all terms laid out in this policy as well as in our Privacy Policy, Terms and Conditions, and any service-level agreements entered into between the parties.
2. Physical Product Returns (If Applicable)
Our policy for physical products allows for returns within 30 days of purchase. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return:

6. Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.

7. Gift Items
If marked as a gift when purchased and shipped to you:

You will receive gift credit for the return value

Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be sent to you
If the item was not marked as a gift, the refund will be issued to the original purchaser.
8. Return Shipping

Any other service provided by SwiftStar Technology
Once a deposit is paid, it is legally considered that:

The client has reviewed, understood, and accepted all SwiftStar Technology policies including this Refund Policy, our Privacy Policy, and our Terms and Conditions.

The project will move forward based on the scope agreed on at the time of deposit.
Under no condition — including dissatisfaction, project cancellation, delays, change of mind, third-party involvement, or unmet expectations — will refunds be issued.
10. Intellectual Property & Idea Disclosure
SwiftStar Technology works on multiple projects, both independently and with clients.
We frequently develop systems, websites, and platforms based on our own internal concepts and client-provided ideas. Due to the volume of work and overlapping industries, some features, ideas, or designs may resemble those in previous or undisclosed projects.
By engaging us, you acknowledge:

Your idea(s) may not be entirely unique or confidential

SwiftStar Technology is not liable for any similarities with other products or services

We retain the right to reuse general frameworks, ideas, templates, UI/UX structures, and code logic across multiple client and internal projects
All intellectual property (IP) rights are subject to the terms agreed upon in your signed service agreement or contract.
11. Legal Compliance Disclaimer
SwiftStar Technology is a development agency only.
We build platforms and websites based on the information, goals, and requirements provided by the client.
It is 100% the client’s responsibility to:

Ensure their business model, operations, and website content are legally compliant

Conduct their own due diligence before launch

Keep their platform compliant with all applicable laws, regulations, data protection rules (e.g. POPIA or GDPR), e-commerce laws, or industry-specific requirements

Update and maintain the legal compliance of their business and digital assets continuously
We will not be held liable for:

Any fines, sanctions, legal action, or disputes arising from non-compliance

The misuse of the platform by third parties

Missing disclaimers, terms, licenses, privacy policies, or legal documents
Our role is purely developmental. We do not offer legal advice or regulatory guidance.
12. Limitation of Liability
By using our services, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless SwiftStar Technology and its team against any direct or indirect damages, losses, claims, or liabilities that arise from:
